    Who do ya like?

Bill Burr is one of my long time favorites.

Iliza's 'Elder Millennials' is FANTASTIC too. As a 34yr old, I can relate.

And if you want a trip down non-PC memory lane, Eddie Murphy's Delirious from 1983

Comedy is not something that sticks in my memory. I can't tell a joke because I can't remember one. Music, movies, and books stick. I'll try to activate some synapses. Richard Pryor on acid is the first thing that bubbles up. Good luck finding video of that.

Well this is close to what I remember.
Granted it has a date stamp.

Comedy is like music to me, I kind of stopped discovering new stuff after about 1998. Steven Wright was a favorite.

Not standup, but Key and Peele are comedic geniuses. I always have to make sure I don't eat or drink anything while watching them lest I spit it all over myself out of laughter.

Gary Gulman. He can turn the most prosaic, 15 second moment in his life into a hilarious 15 minute routine.

I heard a comedian wondering aloud why parents resort to physical abuse when psychological abuse is so much more effective.

When he heard tittering in the audience, he said, "oh, I feel so sorry for you."

In college, sometime around 1980, watching Saturday Night Live, Eddie Murphy did a bit called Mr Robinson's Neighborhood. He had little afros on his fingers, and one finger after another curled as he described the effect of policies in vogue during the Reagan administration. There was only one left standing: his middle finger, which he wagged and called out the president with.

If we're including skits...Chappelle had some of the greatest ever. His standup is also FANTASTIC, new and old. I'd love to see him live.

And while he's a super creep, Louis CK is one of the greats too IMO.

Here's some of the cleanest jokes from the album

Here's a few medium dirty bits

For the really dirty stuff, find it yourself you animals! (whole album is on Spotify)

I'll throw a bit of a curve ball.
Two comedians I like Bill Maher and Stephen Colbert seem to me to be at war.
If you have seen the episodes on Late Show you might get my drift.
Stephen connects with me on a personal level.
Maher wins me over on his ideas.
My weird desire is for a debate without the comedy one upmanship as it just gets in the way.
Hey, it's a desire, likely never gonna happen.

    Had to add this.

On Sarah Palin: “perhaps the least qualified public servant since Caligula nominated his horse.”

Sarah Silverman can put me into severe oxygen debt. When I meet someone who professes to be a liberal forward thinking progressive and then says they don't get Sarah Silverman or they think she is mean or racist or whatever, I can pretty much bet that this person is a political retard who still believes in the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy and I basically am wasting my time talking to them.

I like humor that calls out all sides of an issue including your own, shows you your spleen and then proceeds to feed it to you.

edit: I realize retard is a bad word.

This is one of my favorite bits. Not political, but very funny.
