    Default Smallest trainer out there?

I'm going to be in Asia at least 6x next year for some QC + development stuff.

Part of that time I'm in a city with horrible air quality and in a hotel with a bunch of karaoke bars but no fitness center.

Does a suitcase friendly trainer exist?

    Thanks

    Feedback Omnium?

The weight alone of a lot of trainers makes them difficult to travel with on a plane.

    Feedback Omnium.

Kreitler Kompact or Kreitler Hot Dog.

A 1UP fits in a small suitcase with room to spare.

It's heavy but a Wahoo Kickr plus a front fork stand. With that combination you don't need wheels. Use a basic bike with bars, saddle, and gear train and you can fit it all into a box you'd otherwise use for a frame with wheels.

You're apparently towing along a bike. The trainer can't be the biggest problem here.

May I suggest a training alternative?

Climb stairs. If you're lucky, the hotel will be tall. Your quads will be jello.

Play games on the stairs. Take two stairs at a time. Hop up a flight on one leg. Don't use the railing. Think of other games.

I've done such things when my bike or other training means weren't available. I felt so fulfilled after a "workout" because I didn't let circumstances control me, or my training.

I'm usually doing work at an assembly factory so I've got a pretty decent choice for a bike to use. And for the times I don't . . . I've got this travel bike I've been working on (not exactly how I envisioned using it though . . . trying to avoid AQI # that is regularly above 120)

You're really being literal posting about air quality in the 'Oxygen Depraved' sub-forum, I like it.

Feedback Omnium seems the most logical choice.
