    Default a sad day

Well, its not food related but it is cycling and beverage related. My beloved Vicious Cycles pint/mug/whatever "glass" has bit the dust. Yes, the wolf is crying. I've had it for probably 20 years.

Thanks for getting all of the coffee/beer/oatmeal/soup/wine/whiskey/stew/cheerios/mac-n-cheese....and even the occasional questionable re-hydrated backpacking meal to my pie hole.

I'm sad for your loss, but relieved, as well. I thought Anthony Bourdain had died again.

You need a kintsugi repair kit!

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing pottery with gold epoxy. They've been doing it since the 15th century. Some pottery is so valuable that it cannot be allowed to remain broken. Instead of going for perfect, the imperfections of the cracks become perfection.

You could fix it a la Jorn, put it on the special shelf, and then get an abbey tools silipint and drop it all you want.
