Make sure that there is an exercise regimen built in the system as well. That is, the system turns itself on once/week and makes sure that all system are go when needed. Ask what kind of fuel consumption duration that 275 gal of propane get you too, because if it's less than a week, perhaps look at natural gas if it's available. The theory is that if the roads are impassable during a disaster, then the fuel trucks can't service you. More than a ten days, then the Katrina syndrome kicks in and it might be time to leave for a while.
On a related note, do you have a fresh water storage system and two weeks worth of freeze dried food cached? That's the recommendation for folks who live in a disaster prone region such as areas where earthquakes, floods and extreme weather are possible.
