    Default Ritchey Breakaway kit UK

Anyone know a supplier of these bits in the UK here?

If not, any interest in a small production run of something similar?

    Cheers

I believe the UK Ritchey distro carries them. Contact Ritchey (they have info on their web site) and they should get your sorted.

Assuming the original question is now resolved and there’s no reason not to veer off in another direction entirely, do builders have any feelings about the breakaway system? The seatpost end of things seems like probably the best solution, but I’ve always thought the flange clamp interface on the DT seemed a bit underpowered.

Considering the number of stock frames with breakaway fittings (more than S&S couplers I’m sure) I suppose they must work ok - am I just being overcautious?

I know what you mean - several people use an S & S coupling on the downtube instead. I think I've drawn up an interesting alternative but will try it out before going any further.

Just a quick note to add for anyone doing bigger DT bikes, the breakaway is now available in a 38mm DT size.
