Sputnik frame fixture Q.

I have a fixture on order.
Need to make a stand for it -- I have a good idea of how I'll do it but I figured I'd reach out to the collective Veloci-pedia for any ingenious tidbits of wonder + wisdom.

FWIW, my stand will need to roll.

"A backplate is included to mount the frame jig in a Park bike stand." This from their website description. So maybe the easiest roll around solution is to install castors on a Park stand of the correct jaw style. Andy

Yeah I know the Park Tools part + I thought about putting casters on the big metal base but it just doesn't work as well as I want it too.

What does Jeff at Sputnik say? I would think that he's given this more thought than most.

Also check out Drew/Engin Instagram/Flickr pages. He has a Sputnik and he's a smart guy so whatever he came up with will be a good solution I'm sure.

Using a fixture in a park stand sucks, but I can share how to add castors for moving, and also have it sit flat on its base when stationary, much better then always on castors. A park bench mount arm is a better solution. Get a shitty swivel machine vise and mount it on a pedestal, put the park arm I'm the vise, now you can pivot and rotate, I can find a pic to show you somewhere. The engine stands are ok, if there a good height for you. But most don't rotate for a shit, without some mod's. The fixture that groovy cycles did has the best stand I've seen, but hard to duplicate. I'm building myself a new one now, wish it were done, I would share pics, I think it's a good solution, but requires machining
