i've learned to eat my life-love plain with the healthiest means possible.., outside of
popping over the open fire in a wire basket boy scout style..
we grew back on the farm & the raccoons, pheasant and deer could pick/eat faster than
i could..

any other lovers of the kernel exploded with secret recipes or means of popping??

Air popper. We use the one my wife has had for more than 20 years.

And don't buy the cheap kernels. It matters.

+1 on the Air Popper. Quality kernels make a huge difference. My SO grew popcorn this year in our garden. The garden to plate thing is so cool.

HA! I second the Whirley Pop. We got one as a gift and well... the rest is Popcorn history. Makes perfect popcorn.

We average at least one, maybe two nights a week. For years it was air-pop, but now like others above, whirly pop, or similar. Peanut oil, and Danish Creamery butter. Yep, butter, and high quality butter. It's reserved for pop corn, and when I want to up my cookie game. It matters.
