Apologies, if this has been asked before!
But all I find during some search are dark rumors: "The brass anyway penetrates only for max. 20mm" and so.

So I'd like to ask:
When reinfoorcing the seat tube at the seat top tube / seat stay joint, should I braze through the entire sleeve?
Do you use heat sinks (or "braze straighteners") during that brazing?
I guess, there is no other way than brass at that joint, if the top tube is brazed with brass (I did some reinforcements by brazing brass joints first and silver connections later...)

Any suggestion is welcome.
(It's a MAX seat tube, Reynolds 853 top tube)
