Audio equipment repair

Looking for references to repair a 70's vintage integrated amp that needs to be recapped, pots cleaned, etc. Kenwood KA-8006 to be precise. I'm in Western PA, but I would ship if you folks have a strong recommendation. I know that there are better units out there, but I've had this since college and there are too many sentimental memories of cranking Boston's "More Than a Feeling" and shaking the floor joists of our apartment.

My friend works at the Sound Track in Albany NY, they do a lot of TV warranty work. But he's fixed several audio devices for me - a 10 yr old Yamaha receiver, my (former) '87 bmw's stock stereo head unit, etc. I know they work on vintage stereos/amps as well. I'm sure there are places that specifically work on older receivers, but you could give Sound Track a go if you dont find anything you like, OP. Prices are very reasonable, imo.

I recommend Stereo Surgeons in East Hartford, CT. A one-man shop.

Ken has repaired some Yamaha amps and tuners for me and I've been very satisfied. When he repaired my amp, he installed fuses on the speaker outputs and I didn't ask for that. I consider that "going the extra mile". He definitely has a passion for older equipment.
