I've always been pretty much a grinder. Lately I've been trying to change to spinning and am finding it good that my legs don't fail. However I'm hitting the wall with hunger and that pretty much slows the rest of the ride and fatigue kicks in.
I'm thinking the obvious that I'll need to fuel up on a more regular basis but I'm surprised about this.
I could grind for hours but I don't think I could keep up the pace after 2.5 hours or so while spinning away. I'm sweating more too.
It is a learning experience for me.
Is this common when transferring cadence speed?
Anyone else have experience in this area?
