The actors who play Beth and Dan are excellent together - Dan particularly as he slowly comes apart at the seams - and of course, the two detectives are great. But even with spotty writing, the series still puts the stomach in knots and there is a big exhale at the end of each episode.
Thanks for this. I didn't know there was a season 3. Now four episodes in. The formula from seasons 1 and 2 seems pretty much the same. Good thing I like it.

Peaky Blinders is on pause until I get through this one.
