Default My car just arrived in San Diego

It's a white 2015 Dodge Challenger Scatpack m6 that I haven't done anything to except put in Petty Garage strut tower braces and welded in some subframe connectors.

I took the thing for an oil change and a bath today because it was filthy from driving across the country on a flat bed- and discovered that the fucking left rear tire has a nail in the sidewall so- it's new tire time.

this thing can't put the power down with it's stock rubber in the first three gears- all the nerds say to get Mickey Thompson ET Street SS DOT approved drag radials....they're basically race car tires for the street but they hook.

Or I could just get a nice summer tire that comes in the dumb size this car takes:

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 is supposed to be nice..

Continental Extremecontact DW- so are these but they look boring.

Anyway- any of you guys know what the hot ticket is for street/strip on dry roads with way too much rear wheel horsepower?

The cool kids used to get slicks recapped with street tread at Caldwell Tire in Pasadena. Dunno if this is your speed. I'm lazy so I'd get the MTs.

    these tires are hot.

these dumb drag park stripes are going to be even better. i'm thinking the black ones and replacing the "drag" with "scat"- and doing yellow graphics on the tires.

Please post a pic of the car already. You're killing me smalls. Unless one the cars in post 3 is yours, then shit, that's a sweet car, even if it is a Mopar.
