Default Getting married - grey flannels...?

Well after being engaged for 9 years i'm tying the knot next year and have started thinking of what to wear!
we're not religious so no church for us which means we can wear what we want pretty much.
I don't own a suit but want to look smart.
I'm thinking a nice pair of tailored grey flannels:

    some nice brogues:

Ringwise i'm going for brushed Reynolds 953.

    Anyone else still wear flannels?

I had a registry wedding (though an Italian one, which is a bit nicer than Australia), I didn't own a suit at the time either. Ended up with a fairly Art Deco theme to what we wore, and while my suit wasn't flannel is was inspired by the grey flannel look. It is all about her anyway, I wasn't going to compete with the red cloche.

I got married this year and bought a suit from bonobos.com.

For a suit bought online it fit very well, just had the trousers hemmed. I got a cotton one because it was a summer wedding but I believe they have flannel. Not too expensive, modern, simple.

I'm in the UK so should have great choice in finding a nice pair and getting them tailored.
Good excuse for a weekend trip to London methinks ....
Paul Smith seem to have a good selection
