Bottom Bracket

I received an OS BB, this is a standard one sold by several suppliers. My measurements show the faces are not parallel, and one side is under 68 mm. Is this an acceptable BB?

I would have no problem using it. After brazing expect a touch more change to the width. Which is why we have facing tools. If the finished width gets too narrow a thin spacer between the RH cup and face can re establish the crank's chain line, if needed. Andy.
