Default Paul touring brake boss location

    Hello to all!

I'm getting ready to add canti bosses to a frame and I'm wondering if anyone has the spec for the axle to post center for Paul touring canti's, 700c wheels. I checked Paul's website and didn't see the info readily available. I'll email them if no one here has the info.

    Thanks,
    Jim

Never done it myself, just passing on advice I've read. Can you mock them up yourself? You have the fork and the wheel...

Wait till you get the brakes. The Paul stuff is very nice, but a little more persnickety about prime set up.

I use the Shimano spec and stick them at 283mm and it works great with Paul's cantilevers.

Thanks to all for the help. I'll go with the 283 since I have a set of shimano brakes I can use for now.

Pauls have a little less length that other cantilever brakes, particularly Tektro/Avid. Dangit.
