Default What's your favorite body cream?

It's that time of year again, and with the heat on the air inside is quickly drying out. I've decided to use some moisturizing cream on my arms right before bed time to try to help them out a bit. I've had winter dryness issues with my fingers for ages, but this is the first time that my arms are also noticeably dry. The various potions I usually use for my hands work well, but probably feel too greasy for more widespread application.

I realize this may not be any different from "what's your favorite chamois cream?" and there may be no clear favorite out there, but I'm hoping that there may be some sort of consensus.

I'd say that my priorities, in order of importance are:

    1) Non-greasy
    2) Effective (i.e. works and doesn't do anything bad like clog pores and stuff like that)
    3) The cheaper the better.

    TIA

From the past-life pharmacist in the bunch (are there others here?)... I'd recommend Lubriderm lotion.

That said, we've got a couple of big bottles of Avalon Organics, and the stuff is nice and not expensive.

the one and only time i went to The Art of Shaving, I asked a similar question. I was recommended this rose scented aftershave lotion for women. The stuff was awesome...and best of all, it left no oily residue, which was important to me, 'cause i'd put it on after showering at work. everything else i've tried has left me feeling oily.

I can't find it anywhere in stock. Think it was discontinued.

I was given a tub of Vanicream. It works pretty well for me. Not greasy. It hasn't any dyes, lanolin, fragrance, parabens? and formaldehyde. It it used for the base for other creams(scents added). They have a shave cream that works well also.

I just discovered this site with what looks like some good info, reviews, and a handy search tool:

sure, it starts out innocently about scented body lotion. next thing you know, you will be discussing clear heels and fishnet stockings. There is already a OT on showing your ink...

If they only made heels that would fit these feet.

And then there are Marco Rubio's "cute boots." Is he shortish? Might be looking to gain a bit to appear more presidential.

Would you vote for a man with this sort of footwear?
