no one who's been here will recognize this place. It took 6 hours of cleaning to get it looking this good.

beatles: strawberry fields and penny lane. terrible shape, I don't recall where I found it but I've had it for at least 20 years or so. I can't bring myself to throw it out though I'm certain it would sound horrible and may not even play.

That empty heineken bottle is the first beer I ever drank. I've got the last can of original coke too, although somewhere along the line the top cracked open and the contents leaked out. :(

My wife kindly lets me use our second bedroom for a bike den.
Tragically, a lot of beer is consumed in that chair.

This image inspires me. I now see that 2x4's, plywood, and pegboard are the answer to my workspace dilemma. Thank you.

Is there any reinforcement under the vise, or is that puppy anchored to the plywood alone?

For me at least, this specific thread is like visual therapy, and much cheaper than an actual shrink.....great stashes folks.

Good god you guys are killin' me. I'm crying with envy, jealousy, etc. So much friggin' SPACE!!!!!!

My wife has reluctantly accepted that 2 bikes, an xtra set of wheels and various neatly tucked away tool boxes are "living art" in our living room.

If you're familiar with Manhattan real estate prices, that's about 30 sq. ft. of dedicated space. Yes, that means my bike storage area works out to a cost of...oh nevermind, it's a disgusting thought....

The basement is where the real magic happens

The overview, the treadmill is my wifes, our two mtn bikes in the corner and then my road and cross bike next to the bike stand. My wifes road bike on the trainer.
