    Eric,

Great work. If you posted where to buy these I missed it, if you are selling that is.

Hi, Mike- primarily on IG, but if you want one send me a note and we'll sort it out. Eventually I might have a web store, but so far I'm just selling them as (or before) they get made. Thank you!

For the Spyderco fans this just landed >> Massdrop: Community-Driven Commerce

No I'm not getting one but I would if I did not already have a great and similar Spyderco.

You gotta be careful with Massdrop, it seems like most of their stuff that isn't exclusive to them, isn't a deal at all. This one for example is the same price as Blade HQ, except with Massdrop you have to wait a month or so to get it. Spyderco Police 4 Lockback Knife Black G-10 (4.4" Satin K390) C07GP4 - Blade HQ

EDIT to add they do have this exclusive spyderco - only 20mins left to get in on the drop if you want one tho, hurry up :: Massdrop: Community-Driven Commerce

I like their collaborations/exclusive stuff tho. I've got one of these and have one of these w/the rosewood scales incoming. The fit and finish and machining quality on the Dogtooth is amazingly good, great attention to detail all over it. I did have to adjust the detent a bit, but otherwise it's perfect.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

Eric Sir - good looking knives. I "help" make some with friends who are very skilled, they provide expertise and I do some elbow grease. It is all for food, so we make them with stamps on the side of the blade so you can feel where you are when you are chopping. But I still spill blood a little when i fail to concentrate.

Spent a day with my friend Amayak a while back to learn about his engraving techniques and share tips and tricks. This is one of his latest knife projects. Stainless steel, 24k gold inlay, mother of pearl, diamond and ruby. 750 hours of work. Just bananas.

Yeah his work is insane. He's the nicest, most humble guy in the world too. Moved to the U.S. from Moscow in the mid 90's- the Metropolitan Museum wrote a letter of recommendation so he could come here and work for Zadora (American Faberge) where he worked on some insane million dollar clock. All of his knife work is done using a hammer and chisels with riffler files/fiber files for cleanup. It was really cool to be able to have him walk me through his methods of work and let me look over his shoulder.

Not the works of art Honus posts, but still fun craft-y stuff, and it's nice to know the tradition is rebounding.

While Winter Bicycles is still on hold as I get a shop space figured out, I have been keeping myself busy with Winter Cutlery.

Here are a few of the latest pieces:
