Sweet thread. Most of the pics on my phone right now are of the sunsets from our house. It's one of the things I love most about being here.
These don't even come close to doing it justice.

Well, since non-cycling pics have appeared I'll toss in a couple....
The first one was taken about 12 years ago on the way from Lugano to Zurich, just after sunrise. The colors of the mountains change by the second almost as the sun comes up. If I retire in the Alps I'm completely OK with that. There's very little on this planet that can beat a mountain sunrise or sunset.
The second one was taken last fall departing Columbia, South Carolina en route to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Not too shabby for a cellular phone picture.
-- no camera/no pics and semi-conscious.., but i still can see part of me hanging out the Huey UH-1D gunship lifting form paddies of rice with my men aboard just at sunset.. the c warrant officer-pilot was "court martial overweight/load..," but he took us all hang'n on/hang'n in..
and the sunrise through the plastic med-i-vac makeshift operating room tent..
always be the best pic within me..
ronnie
-- no.., i flew in them more than i want to remember..
i was a "grunt" captain with the 101st ab trying to keep my men alive and partial intact.., both mentally and physically..
"i would'a made the best love to any/all med-evac warrant officer pilots..," no questions asked..

From one of my favourite places in the world. Lennox Head at sunset.

Sunrise in Deerfield, MA, on the way to the campgrounds/start of D2R2.
Sunrise, sunset,
Sunrise, sunset,
Swiftly fly the years.
One season following another
Laiden with happiness
And tears.
