I built one with a Saint crankset. Have two in-build I might go with Profiles on the hucking bike and something lighter on the Elk Hunter.

I went thru the BTI catalog, one option is Truvative makes the Gigapipe BB in 83mm. Lots of moderate-price Truvativ product will bolt up to that.

I'm not a fan if the ISIS interface, or should I say the bearings in them

Race Face SIXC Cinch Cranks are 83mm and the current Atlas 104BCD cranks are 83mm. (The Turbine Cinch and Next Cinch are not available as 83mm versions). Apparently the Atlas is coming out in a Cinch version too? Can't recall where I read that recently. So that will be a good option as well.

As an aside, the new Race Face 30mm spindle BB (English threaded version) is much improved - I haven't experienced any creaks to date on my own and had no customer complaints to date. One nice thing though is that RWC (Real World Cycling / Enduro Fork Seals) makes compatible bottom brackets for these cranks which are a nice upgrade. The cups are a little thinner in width than Race Face's stock cups are, so if you are looking to eek out a little more room you can shift things a touch more to one side to afford more clearance with larger volume tires and chainstay/chainring/tire clearances. The Cinch chainrings can be flipped too to give you even more room. I will say that wolf tooth's Cinch chainring is vastly more stout than the stock Race Face rings and the tooth profile for 1x setups does a better job of retentions. (Just my opinion).

EDIT: I will also say after using the e13 BB preload and the Race Face BB preload, I like how the Race Face version was constructed (Alloy vs plastic) and it's attached to the arm and not free floating as e13's is which actually can mistakenly be flipped when installed and cause a ton of creaking.

One thing I do with the RF Cinch cranks is order a second crank arm cap/puller bolt for the non-drive side for the client. They ship with a non-puller type cap/bolt so if you ever do need to service the cranks and pull the left arm off, you have to first take off the cap/puller bolt from the drive side and install it on the non-drive side. This turns them into the true 3 piece cranks they should have been shipped as IMO.

I had a client spec a pair of Shimano ZEE cranks too which come in 83mm. (Albeit on the heavy side).
