Took our 10yr old who really wanted to see it, as well as his friend. Neither were impressed...the friend just straight up didn't like it. I wanted to ask for my $100 back. I'm shocked it's got a 6.9 on IMDB. Awful.

Napoleon Dynamite
Toklat (when I was a kid, we stood in line two nights to get into this one...)
Ferngully
The first attempt at The Lord of the Rings (animated)

A myriad of 80's and 90's "disaster" movies...
Anything with Jean-Claude Van Damme.

I'd have to go under hypnosis to contribute more. These are some bad memories best left well-buried.

Relative to the other Hobbit movies or to a mid-tier movie benchmark? I only ask because I couldn't watch the first two, so if the third was bad relative to those two I can't imagine how anyone could watch it.

i hear ya, but respectfully disagree. Watch, re-watch, and then re-re-watch Napoleon Dynamite. Until it gets in there. Then it's there forever. And as for JCvD, well, there's a time and place for almost everything.

It was worse than the first two. So yeah, unwatchable. I only made it through because it was a drink-friendly theatre and I'd already had several beers.

Agree, but I loved Napoleon Dynamite from the first frame. A wonderful message, endless quotable lines, Uncle Rico and LaFonda; what a combo. I watched it until "my lips hurt real bad!!"

I hate old movies. Casablanca, for example, is just awful. Actors back then had the ability to overact yet appear wooden at the same time.

I lasted about 25 minutes then I freaked out. My religious friend watched the whole thing and he was so pissed about how bad it was, that he dropped 5 euros in my swear jar. If I ever met the person responsibile for the creation of this will ask for my 25 minutes back. Or give them 25 minutes of something that makes your brain melt. I am permanently scarred.

Napoleon Dynamite

I wasn't impressed with Napoleon Dynamite the first time I saw it...but every time since it's gotten funnier and funnier. It's a special kind of funny that not every appreciates though.
