    1984 TdF when Laurent and Greg were on the same (Renault) team.
    Greg won best young rider and Laurent won the race for the 2nd time.

    1983 TdF when Laurent won the TdF in his 1st attempt at 22 years old.
    He won the both the white jersey and the yellow jersey.

    I once saw LF in Paris Orly airport carrying his bike bag. When he smiled it was a nice smile.

    Yeah I wish I could have met him. He seemed like a really cool guy. Gone way too soon.
