Maybe not as iconic as the previous one posted. Track cycling is less popular but these two of circled on the intarweb for a few years:

Okunev from Russia doing a wall ride trying to avoid Baugé. Okunev inevitably crashed when returning to the track.

And that amazing save by Baugé after the back of a Kevin Sireau falling catched and locked his rear wheel.

Those french track team mechanics have a bad reputation of not gluing those tubulars correctly.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

I'm not sure it qualifies as 'iconic' but I love this pic.

1986, the Plumline 7500, 50 miles offroad with 7500 feet of climbing, reaching 11,000 feet elevation. A couple of miles in, the saddle fell off Cindy Whitehead's bike. "But still she persisted." And won.

Found this in a Paris postcard shop years ago.
I have met both of them but never dared to take the photo out and ask for a signature.
Would have probably ruined a perfect evening and might have resulted in a right cross to the jaw.
Still, I am curious what they might have written...
