    Default Bottle-cage friendly travel mugs

For those that commute or ride in cold weather:

what mugs are travel-ready (i.e. won't spill a drop riding through city streets or gravel roads), fit in a standard bottle cage, and allow for on-bike consumption (i.e. not just a cylinder with a screw top)? Gotta transport that coffee/skratch labs apple-cinnamon deliciousness somehow..

I have some stainless "contigo" coffee mugs that have a push button to sip. they fit really well in my cages and don't even fall out/rattle in my carbon cages on one of my bikes.

They also seal up really well and even against the manufacturer-they are fine to use in the dishwasher.

I picked up a 2 pack of them from Costco.

I ordered this and it fits in my King Cages Iris nicely. Just wish I had a matching frame.

I have these, and while I find them to be great for cold drinks, I have a hard time drinking hot things out of them without burning myself. YMMV.

I've since moved to the tropics, but my experience with these on cold commutes in the past was great. The seem to fit well in a variety of cages that I've used them in.

I have this one: hinged lid opens quickly but is very secure when closed.

I have a plastic stanley I got from REI that fits the bill nicely. Mine is a screw top, which they don't seem to carry any longer, but the new ones seem to use the same body. This has fit in everything from stock raleigh, to planet bike, to king to arundel dave-o cages.

    Here it is.
This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the bike.
