Needless to say, this is also about bikes.

Truth to tell, the Top Gun Big Pilot perpetual calendar watch is no thing of great beauty. Produced by the prestigious Swiss manufacturer IWC, it is a formidable hunk of matte-black ceramic casing roughly the diameter of a cocktail coaster.

The true merit of this ominous device is to be found on the inside, where its mechanical marvels reside. that Red Bar crew knows how to have a good time. come mid-life crisis, I've decided that I am going to sell off everything bike related I own, and have collected, and buy either a Yamaha R6 or a Big Pilot. John Mayer talking about his Big Pilot and seeing (i think) Matt Bracken wearing a Fliegerchrono is what started it all.
