    Default 'Modern' Front Mech Hanger?

    As far as I can see there's all of about one front mech hanger (for steel frames) available, and example of which is here:

    Is there something more modern available? Whilst there's nothing wrong with this design per se, it would be nice to have something more up to date for a modern, tiged frame with 44mm head tube, and other fittings chosen for their simple, clean form.

    That is modern. It's relatively new, designed for a wide range of modern chain ring sizes, and designed around modern pipe dimensions. There are even some tidy little tricks in there to make it build up easily.
