    Default new Al cablestops.....re-heat treat

I put a post up on the spooky smoked out page....but I have some other questions regarding my issue.....
I'm considering new cablestops on my Spooky Havocstaff......wood I need to have the frame re-heat treated if I welded on new stops.........or should I consider rivet-on stops?

I'm not framebuilder, but I can tell you that I see quite a few #70xx series alloy frames "blooming" by corrosion starting right were the cable stops are riveted. A partial cure is to epoxy the holes prior riveting
