Fiddlehead ferns

Thought I missed the season, but today I saw some at the local market. Was thinking of sauteing some up along some wild sockeye and some South African Sauvignon Blanc after a long ride tomorrow. Anyone else a fan of Fiddleheads?

I was just out last week & everyone was picking them, we got a few.
Kind of bitter, blanching 1st real quick helps lots.
They last *maybe* a week out here.
