I'm confused by this. PD doesn't vary with different frames - it's a static number (well, 2..near and far). It's my understanding that the PD does influence how lenses in different frames are ground. BTW, while the PD is often left off of a prescription if you ask your Dr. - and they measured it - they are required by law to give it to you.
So now I'm wondering what good does it serve to send someone a PD from one set of frames to be applied to a set of sunglasses with crazy shaped lenses. Has anyone dealt with this issue when ordering online?
FWIW, I've ordered three pair of wrap-around Rx sunglasses online using the same PD as my regular glasses and they've been perfect IMO.
