    Came across this guy making viking swords

    when people say what is a craftsman? I think this sums it up nicely



    it would be awesome to have skills like this

    This is pretty much the coolest thing ever. If I could have another pass at life I would end up bladesmithing.

    Take a look for community education classes at a local vocational school. The one near me offers blacksmithing classes. It'd probably be worth it to take one, just for the fun factor of trying something new.

    I got sucked in and ended up watching them all...loved the way he actually explained the process to the layman like me as he went along

    A bit like S119 both deadly in their relevant era's but I'm very hopeful at least one will never be used for its actual purpose
