I'm no photographer by any stretch but I snapped this one misty morning near Muir Beach, with an older Nikon D40 and I think it came out pretty awesome. No manipulation at all. It helps to have stunning subject matter I guess.

Just yesterday I was telling a buddy at work how neat it would be to live where the night sky is truly dark, and you can see stars just about everywhere you look. I'm pretty far out and have a decent view, but certainly not the proverbial "blanket of stars."
