Default Velocipede Salon caravan support car

    Well, look at that:

Peugeot : 504 Base Sedan 4-Door in Peugeot | eBay Motors

I'm in for $500. We'll form a corporation and buy it to support our local rides. Imagine how epic we'll be. In all seriousness, these run forever and have nice seats. I drove one from Sweden to Senegal once. It was maroon and not this nice.

Did someone else spend too much time trolling through eBay motors today? I mean, besides me.

The seats in Peugeots really are terrific. Best in any vehicle of the era - maybe best ever.

No, pre-1993 Saab 900. Totally unimprovable, and infinitely adjustable recline.

I'd be in but that car might not make it on some of the sections of Ballers. Not that they're not tough, but there are a couple sections where a truckish vehicle is desirable. Still, yeah, it would be extremely cool. Roof rack. Mechanic hanging out the window. Driver with Gaulloise cigarettes. The usual stuff I have on my rides, but with a French flair now.

Needs the steel skid plate under the transmission mod. That's a lot of brittle alloy hanging low and waiting for a howdy from a big rock to puncture it. Front lower control arms prone to cracking and like to snap at full lock (ask how I know).

Saab 900s are generally useless. But they have good seats, that's all.

Saab 900s are like the tents in Harry Potter - much bigger inside than outside! The aft end of those vehicles is not much smaller than the aft end of my GMC Yukon. They can hold a LOT of stuff.

No, 1969 Buick Electra 225, o-k-a, the Deuce-and-a-Quarter. Bench seat up front, back seat in a different time zone, and a trunk so big it had its own weather system.

The Toppola is proof that the winter in Sweden is about 4 months too long.

    60k miles on a 34 y.o. car? That's incredible. I wonder if that's a typo.

I'll donate $250 plus three warm Bud Calmetto tall boys. On the condition that they must be kept in the glove box for emergencies.

what sort of emergency do you figure that swill is good for? You would be exponentially increasing the chances that a french car would catch on fire by having that on board.
