The New Balance Minimus shoes come in EE (and some 4E) width. I went with the EE, which gave me good toe room for my toes to splay out comfortably. And the bonus of their wider shoes is that they add the width in the forefoot -- the rearfoot stays nice and snug. The Altra Instinct, Adam, and Superior would be worth a look, too.

Hmm, I always knew that New Balance was famous for that but the last place I tried them on didn't mention it. The lady let me try on 2 or 3 styles, I complained that all were too narrow and she offered nothing.

    Thanks for the tip..
