Corporate answer would be: Go ride it for a few hundred miles than start using NFS.
Personal answer: Hit it with a big can of WD40 and a large rag for a backstop. Wipe like crazy, let air dry for a few hrs. than apply 12 drops of NFS and have a nice day.

Send me the leftover cloudy, toxic, smelly and environmentally dangerous original NFS lube and I'll put it to good use. Six bikes in our family and I just made it through my first bottle with a spare in reserve. Good stuff.

You kid because you love soooo much ;) NFS is non-toxic...win win win. NFS+ is non-toxic, odorless and biodegradable.

    Horses for courses.

    I use both

A prototype unit was tested by a well regarded lab and resulted in more questions. The moto guys know about this.

My wife actually likes when I come out of the garage smelling of typical bike lubes. I get no response when I use NFS though. I'm not sure if I should classify that as a win or a loss. Maybe I should start shaving with the leftover pro link...

I have bottles of NFS if you need that little extra to assault your Mrs. senses. I wonder if Josh can add a "pheromone" spiked version. NFSx?

Hah! I have the NFS and the odor is so mild that I get no reaction from her. So I'm agreeing with your sniff test pass, though with my unique situation, where she actually does like the smell of the prolink, its a bit of a fail.

The performance of the lube though... wait a minute ( I need to proceed with caution here - PG-13 forum and all) ... This stuff works great on bicycles! I need to get a hold of some of that grease though. My tube of Phil's is getting tired.

Been a year or two at least. No balding or patchy irritations. It gets the same wipe-down you stress with chain duty. Like lingerie, barely there is when it does its sexy work.

Remembered something I had hinted at last Winter while au naturale hotboxing a set of cross country skis today (South facing deck on a day with warm and even temps). No not patchouli scented NFS+. The equally tongue in cheek Ballers Glide© product which could ultimately spawn a duly named Winter version of Ballers Ride©.

Technically they will be face down and I want them to slip. So from my perspective this is wholly in keeping with the principle guidelines you have laid out. What say you, Toots?

Love at first sight. We can do this. Can I suggest snowshoes to allow for broader audience?
BallersGlide, you know at some point I will have to succumb and make a new product. Will make for a hella strong sales pitch at trade shows.

Dug up my previous comment for posterity. Disallowing comments in the classifieds and moving this to OT threw me off.

Awesome. You better keep that stock up. Once I run out of what I have at home, that'll be my new number 1 go to tape.
