I just used the Race Grease for the first time: re-packed 3 cup-and-cone Campag hubs. Whilst the resistance to solvents and water may not be as robust as the marine grease I use, RG makes the hub spin noticeably more smoothly. Like, really smooth. Good stuff.

Sure it would David. Really, you don't need any adhesive on the bartape itself. The issue is getting the mfg. to do a custom production run.

Prepping the Obie (Oberlin Blue Iconic Explorer) this evening for my daughter's return back to school on Saturday. This will be the fourth year that this beast will travel Oberlin College's streets and campus paths. The bike has spent many a cold and stormy night out in the elements with nothing but a shower cap covering the saddle. The drivetrain and other areas prone to rust, have come to rely on NFS and the traveling bicycle repairman to make sure that my daughter is on time for class, her library gig and fencing practice.

Sorry for radio silence on this topic Will. Turns out I has ZERO inhouse left over from Beta testing. Good news, I now have a precious 10 gallons ready for business. We are finishing up labels and have a tentative product name....uhhh what ment to say is I can send you a bottle this week ;)

I tried this ONCE. I wasn't impressed.

In regards to biodegradable......I'm curious and hesitant. My experience with a previous bio-degradable product was bad (I still have the bottle and relegated it to cutting fluid). How would this potential new bio-degradable product separate itself?

No kidding? That's great man great. Stay in touch, I'm keen to keep you in tall grass. Also, the new biodegradable product has great promise esp. if you think folks in OZ are supportive of non-toxic / bio-safe products.

Just wanted to give a huge "thank you" to TT for a surprise little gift that kind of sneaked in the cracks... I'd ordered two boxes of the NFS bar wrap (still testing, but so far I'm liking it). On Saturday I finally got around to cleaning up the shop, and the box was on the way to the recycle bin. Hmm... something feels just a little too heavy there.

A bottle of new NFS lube was hiding in the paper stuffed in the box! So awesome.

Alright Josh, so what's different with the new Ne+Ultra version vs the standard lube? Just the odorlessness and biodegradableness?

Pretty much everything is different. It really is clear, no smell, non-toxic and is biodegradable. We've tested this with a group of > 20 people who are also NFS users. The results were very consistent across the board. Our test riders found that it was just as quiet, lasted almost as long and no odor. Where it differs in function are wet/muddy conditions. NFS+ is not quite as robust as NFS and it still no slouch. You can ride all day long in the rain using NFS+ with good results...for instance. NFS+ is not ment for muddy mtn. biking or wet/dirty road riding, this is where you need to go with NFS.

The "difference" is that it is very good stuff you can depend on and if you want the added benefit of a "green" product...well HONEY there you go.

FWIIW I am not going out on a limb to tell you that NFS+ is a higher performance bicycle chainlube than NFS. If Velonews pays for another chainlube shootout and FF does the labwork I'll predict we will rank higher than some of the wax based products and NFS.

Yep, kids and pregnant wife with a superhuman sense of smell. Plans are to put this on the kids bikes, load them in the van and send them on a trip to the park. Kids happy, wife happy, pets are secure.

Awesome, I feel very confident this will go well. W., do me a solid and whatever you put this on make sure it is degreased 100%. The new super juice will dissolve and mix with any and all petro. products currently in play. I'm repeating myself but feel it is important to stress this esp. given your requirements.
