I'm trying to buy a bottle but can't get it to add to my cart through your website?

Edit ... figured it out. You must first create an account and log in.

Toots, there is a fundamental flaw ... The stuff lasts forever.

After 2 years I am still on the first bottle ... By my calculations, I have enough NFS to last until the next ice age.

I'm so intrigued. Wish there was some here in Austin. I don't suppose any of it will make to the TX Handmade show will it?

Just order a bottle from Josh. The longevity of the bottle will far and away surpass anything out there and actually makes the cost crazy cheap even with the postage. Nearly 18 months in and only 2/3 through my first bottle. By far the best cycling purchase I have ever made.

Sorry buddy. Talk to your LBS. Tell them to contact me and we can make this happen.
We have a "stockist" list on the website where they will be listed.

Add me to the long list of satisfied customers. This stuff is the best I've ever used, and I'm stunned at how little I need. Superb, and glad it goes to a good cause.

BIG ups for Bicycling Magazine and Bill Strickland for a mention in the current issue.
Related, Bicyclings new look and content top notch.

Finally got back to some shops today to see how much they loved NFS. two of the shops the mechanic wasnt in and the third claimed it was too messy for the dry conditions they ride in. Said they favoured the dry wax lubes. I think he misundrstood the product myself. It'ds a hard sell in Australia.

It is critical to demonstrate proper application otherwise this can happen. Not a criticism just reality. When I make a shop sale i won't leave until the owner and mechanic see me apply NFS to a chain and we chat a bit.

NFS is different than most traditional lubes. Go easy with it!

It's very dusty/dry here in Colorado (for now), and the only time I find NFS to be messy is when I use too much. Like folks have said, 10-12 drops will usually be fine. You also have to resist the urge to apply it too frequently.

Hey TT and Gravelbike - how often should you need to re-apply in dry and dusty conditions? It's really dry here too, most of the year.

For my road bike, NFS has been working pretty well, with minimal re-application needed. But on the mountain and CX bikes, things start to get pretty rackety after about 30 miles or so. I can get a bit more out of the CX bike, if some of the miles are on pavement.

I've tried fewer drops, more drops, always wipe the side plates. Brand new drivetrain as of 2 months ago on the MTB.

The plus side - it's keeping things clean - when it gets dusted up, it crumbles off nicely. But again, I'm only getting about 30 miles or so. Am I doing something wrong, or is that about the mileage I should expect in these conditions?

That's odd that you're only getting 30 off-road miles out of one application. I wonder if dirt is getting pulled into the links/pins when new lube is applied.

Really not sure. That could be it. I should also add that when I do lube the chain, I always do it after a ride, to let things settle in before the next ride. And I always wipe the excess off the outside.

Like I said, the roadie is great (though it sees the least amount of use).
