    Default Garmin Car GPS'

Apologies if this topic has been discussed but my search didn't turn up anything. Does anyone have experience with Garmins? The GPS on my non smart phone is good at telling me to turn for a street that was fifty feet behind me and I'm planning a trip where I'd like to get off the Interstates as much as possible and don't want to be stopping every quarter mile to refer to my atlas. TIA

I have a Garmn about 4 years old I'm still using. Just used it this weekend for a nine hour drive including nashville and St. Louis and it is still superior to any app I've found for the phone or iPad for exactly the reason you mentioned. It's not perfect, but it is much better in my experience.

PM me. I've got a new unit that is not getting used. I'll make you SUCH a deal!
    The automobile Garmins are fantastic.
