Kris - a few things.

1 - Have you by chance measured the actual width of the new WTB Riddlers? They look sweet, but I've got 42's in my Zukas now and I wouldn't want the clearances to get any smaller.

2 - Hopefully by the time you're ready to offer ti frames to the public I'll be in the position to give you some money

3 - In for a couple bottles. All of mine are thoroughly ragged out, and these are rad.

1. WTB Riddler TCS 45mm set up tubeless on a set of I9 Torch Ultralite 29 wheels (the previous version - I think the rims are 23.5mm or something?) come in at a cool 45mm exactly. The tire is really big honestly. Clearances for my chain stays on my Huntsman are 2.2". With Nano TCS 40's on there, it's about .25" of clearance all the way around. With the Riddler TCS 45's, it's just a hair over .125" of clearance. I wouldn't personally want to go any higher than that size on my own bike. I like the look and feel of the Nano 40's in comparison. They are just a touch "faster looking" type thang. The Riddlers are really nice tires though. They do come in a 37mm.

2. It's about a year I think once I get all 4 proto's finished and ride them for a good long season. Maybe more proto's will follow, but that's my schedule thus far.

Sorry for the tardy response Bill. I missed it over the weekend.

Things are progressing nicely. I've set aside the next month for some dedicated time to finishing up the last bits of tooling which is mostly chain stay process oriented. The first of two Huntsman prototypes are prepped and ready to be tacked and the front triangle is finished for the first of two Marauder 1x11 with SS option. Yesterday was spent starting in on finishing some bending die's for .875" O.D. chain stays and doing some test bends so I can create some master drawings of mountain bike chain stays to be used as templates.

Ironically, making a 1.375" O.D. seat tube with a bend in it is somehow easier than bending .875" O.D. chain stays but that has more to do with the size of the radius of course. I may make a dedicated bender just for chain stay's that works much like my bender does for seat tubes. The roller for the Anvil bender is a bit too small for starters.

Here's the Marauder front triangle finished up. Pretty excited about this one naturally. It's been really exciting to start fresh and be learning a lot refining my methodology and subsequent process.
