Done. Hopefully I won't have to decide on my burial mountain anytime soon.

Thanks to all who have ordered posters this past weekend/week. This went out Monday, and more went out today.

And while that was happening online, I'm building. Kind of a cool trade... (take note of the pinky perch)

Was able to visit Kris during his Open Shop last weekend. Great setup surrounded by what looked like amazing terrain. He's got lots of his cool graphic design work up in the shop which only adds to the awesomeness of the place. Thanks for letting us visit!

Anyone got their posters yet? Mine were scheduled to be here on Thursday. Tracking info was last updated on the 11th when they left the post office in Lynderborough, NH.

I'm being impatient, I know. But the tracking info says 3 day priority mail and it's been a week....hope they're not lost!

Mine arrived also. Way better than the already high expectations I held prior to delivery. Kris, these posters are awesome!

Dustin, here's hoping they find their way to your doorstep today.

Good to hear everyone has been enjoying the posters. Hope you get yours safe and sound Dustin.

Jason at Brainstorm in Dover, NH did a really great job. The "I'm painting my bike black" poster was originally to be a large black print on cream stock, but we both agreed this one deserved something special, hence the black 100lb paper stock from French Paper Co, and the metallic silver ink. That one is my personal favorite on many levels. The other two are really well executed as well. More is on the way and in the works in the next few weeks/months perhaps. Next up now that the caps and prints are done, is a new run of T-Shirts so keep your eyes peeled for that. I'll be sure to let everyone know as I think i'll do a pre-order for this one to make sure everyone who is really interested, gets a t-shirt. Many have been asking for a new shirt for a long time.

Thanks again fellas for the support!

The black poster is special. I'm having it dry mounted to gator board, but it looks like it could hold up on its on without it. Really nice work.

Thanks to all for the support and for sharing the poster stoke. Keep them coming. I'm getting frames for my own copies later this week...

Mine arrived safe and sound, and they look great! Just got to figure out where to put them now...the man cave/wheel building room/storage/bonus room is the obvious place, but with the sloped ceilings there's hardly any wall space, and most is taken up already by shelves with rims and a pegboard with tools. Hmm...

So is anyone else going to actually sign the I Promise poster?

Dude, mine is living room bound. This is about as close to art as we have in my house. No way I'm hiding mine in my unfinished man-cave.

Mine are getting framed and are office bound. They were going into the man cave (it's a garage full of junk with a bike repair stand), but they're too nice.

There's so much dirt here with so little traffic (I might bump into one car on a 50 mile ride) there was just no reason to own a skinny. Don't get me wrong, I love road bikes and fixies, but a bike with knobbies is where it's at for my sensibilities. If the tires are on dirt, that's when the ride speaks to me most. Here's an early proto of a more monster version of the above:

You can see the progression here between the two builds and I'd like to revisit this bike at some point perhaps next spring to update it. This is technically a "Snake Driver". Run it with dirt drops, riser bars, fat tires, racks, packs. It's the do all bike.
    Hi Kris,
I was wondering with the brake setup as is...how was that on steep fireroad descents?Love the clean look as opposed to hooded levers.
    Thanks,

Funny you found that - I was going to post those pics up in that other thread but decided not to. This was good most of the time. When it got steep, and the terrain was loose, it was "OK". Your hands are closer together, but with these bars you could spread your hands a touch more and still grab some lever. Ideally, they should be used in combo with a set of hooded levers. Before I built this bike, I had a black Surly Karate Monkey that pretty much was this setup that I was fiddling with in a monster cross setup.

Good question! I have been considering it, but we shall see. If I do, they'd be smaller batches to start, and I'd build them a touch differently. I'll let everyone know if this does happen.
