Full teardown on the M.G. Looks pretty clean.

If Dan and his lovely bride can make it this year I'm hoping to do at least a couple days of BDR. We camp near the BRP close to Floyd, Va. I *think that's sections 1/2/3 My shop is all to happy to spoon in some 60/40 tires.

Glad I don't have to leave any of my scooters outdoors. I rotate the battery tender every couple of days to keep all the batteries happy.

Speaking of batteries...Just moved to a new house and decided that moving the moto on the coldest day of december was a good idea. turns out the battery was flat dead. Turns out that my ducati uses a battery that seems to be unobtanium at regular parts stores. drove around to 5 stores before i found a battery that resembled the correct shape and size. lesson learned. trickle charger plugged in :)

I haven't been over there for a long time, but I thought the whole appeal of the thing was the wild west attitude.
Hell, I still have a couple fyyff ovals, one is on the back of an aero bike helmet...

    Sixty degrees and sixty miles.

    Very little effort.

    First ride since mid-December...

Nice one Pete. It's clean!!! I just finished trailering mine to our Va campsite where I'll do most of my riding this summer.

My little CBR250 has been in storage for a few years, but I'm going to do my part to fight $5/gal fuel prices by getting this back on the road in the next few days. Probably gets about 80mpg or something wonderful like that. It's not a rocket ship, but perfect for some tasks with a fuel sipping appetite.

Personally, I can't wait until gas is at $7 or more a gallon. And My duc only gets about 30mpg.

I know this is even probably gonna stir the pot but it would be incredible if the USA/States started actually taxing the stuff to help fund some much needed infrastructure everyone keeps talking about but not wanting to fund.

It should be at least $2.00 a gallon or more.

A nice ride through Columbia County, NY and Western Massachusetts.

Picture taken at Bash Bish Falls State Park.

Rode about 75 late Winter miles.

Way to go Pete. I'm missing my Moto right now. It is parked at our Va campsite under cover waiting for me in a few more weeks.

Nice. It's cool riding the moto on familiar cycling roads. I think you can appreciate the contour of the land better once you've suffered up a hill too.

I'll get one more ride on this bike to meet the BMW Tuesday night dinner group in Lakeville, CT tonight, then one more ride tomorrow to drop it off to my buddy Rick Bell who's gonna replace the pushrod seals since they're leaking a bit, so will probably be without this machine for a week or so.

Thanks :) I went from "never rode a motorcycle" in mid '20 to "owns 4, rode across the country" in '21 so it's been a busy last two years. The Ducati I found from a guy in Syracuse who had bought it as his first motorcycle, ridden it maybe 2000 miles during his ownership over 10 years, then got rid of it to me (and wept when he sold it.) Absolutely wonderful machine.
