It's good to see that not just the ancient Egyptians are capable of grandiose art.

The bottom line for me is this: What role is art to play in a modern society? Plus, like the pyramids, it's a neat engineering feat. 340 tons is not a trivial weight to move under any circumstances.

That's nothing like the Pyramids of the Ancient Egypt. Not even close.

Imagine thousands of those masses, cut down to inch-perfect rectangular blocks, and then stacked meticulously by manual slave labor to construct a exact four-sided pyramid over 480-feet high. Now that's truly something.
