    Default Very Proud of her...

My baby sister (Tanya) that is.

She just finished her degree in film production in December. This vid was her senior project, it pretty much consumed her life for a lot more time than the 13min running time might suggest. 'Blue' has won several awards at various film festivals, and she's currently in talks with the American Cancer Society.

Wish I was 1/2 as talented as her!

    Without further adieu:

Example: She needed an ending song. After searching around couldn't find anything she liked, so she wrote it herself. She recorded the piano part and had one of her friends sing the part - he sang into his closet full of clothes...

Hey Mike, I was a year older than Julenne for the first go round (there were 3+ an autolugous stem cell transplant in 1989), I'll be 52 in a few weeks.

Thank your sister for me, she did good.

Very, very nice. Well acted, edited, and produced. The light touch made all the difference.

At first I thought 13 minutes?! I'm not sitting here for 13 minutes to watch a internet video. Then I remembered how much time I spend sitting here anyway. Best 13 minutes spent in front of the monitor in a long time. Congrats.

The film was incredibly well done. Lost my Dad Oct of 2009 to indolent non-hodgkin's lymphoma. Very touching, please thank her me.

I passed this thread on to Tanya.

BTW, Julenne isn't even an actress - true life cancer survivor who Tanya met at vespers one Friday night.

Finally got a chance to watch this all the way through after work yesterday. A coworker passed my cubicle on her way out and asked if I was ok. Very talented, very powerful.
