Awesome video. I love how he doesn't just have a big pile of junk but has organized it and is getting tools in to the hands of new users.

    thanks for posting.

The narrator has a pretty sophisticated outlook on the role of tools to our economy. It makes the 'tool thrift store' into a mission for social justice. Good stuff- thanks.

Wow. I really want to go visit that place. I would probably not be able to get out there in under 5 hours.
He really does speak to what I see as a huge problem today. People are being brought up and not being taught how to use their hands and fix things. Just thrown it away and buy another. I am constantly amazed at how many people can't do simple tasks like uncloging a sink, changing a flat on their car, fixing a fence. It is no wonder that actually making things is becoming more rare in this country.

One of the best posts I've encountered here. Thank you.

I'm a huge fan of the "good" tools that used to be made in New England. The new ones don't last like the old ones.

This is great. Thanks for posting. On a related note there is a guy with a booth at one of the local antique stores. His booth is my favorite. I wish that I could buy everything that he has.
