Default need help: cover my ape arms

Desperately need some new threads for work and play. I have a_REAL_hard time finding LS shirts in a medium with arms long enough (~36.5" arms). Patagonia seems to be cut almost long enough but not quite - everything else I've found is way short (Royal Robbins, Prana, Mountain Hardwear, Horny Toad and other stuff from the outdoor stores, Carhart, Pendleton, etc, along with all the standard issue Mall stuff).

Any brands Ive missed (T-shirts, work flannels, etc) that do long sleeves without the chest/waist being a parachute on my lanky self - or am I resigned to being a Fred?

I hate to spend another man's $$. Apparently Filson will make to fit their shirts and jackets. I'm real real close to asking them for some work shits. You could fit two of me into most of my off the rack shirts.
    Hey, it could be worse.

    He's so gangsta.

If quality isn't your highest priority, any of the mail order made-to-measure places like Indochino can get you through the work week. If you want nice-nice, you'll have to get measured by a real shirtmaker and s'gunna cost ya.

Chasea not talking about dress shirts -- yet...

Everyday clothing. I'm looking into Filson - most of their long shirts start in large. They've got a couple though.

Pendelton makes a long fit. They also make a vintage/slim fit that fits longer than their normal cuts. The slim fit is nice because it isn't built for the modern lunchbox shaped man. Check the website out for a size chart. Then wait till the end of the season when shit is 70% off.

LLBean makes shirts in tall sizes. However, once you add trim fit to the mix your choices drop...but i hear they have a great return policy

Nice tip on the pendelton slim fit.

The problem with most 'long' shirts is my torso is normal length so they look like dresses if not tucked in.

LL Bean will fit in their long sizes. Carl Goldberg at CEGO will make you anything you need/want at a great value in the US. Google him.
