Grazie Dario. I do not think I will make it to Vegas. If my Father goes I will send him to meet you and to say ciao for me. I am going to try and make it to NAHBS in Denver though. Of course I want to see the bikes...but it is seeing you again that I most look forward to. Safe travels and enjoy lots of Mexican! Tell the rest of the guys in Caldonazzo a big ciao from me please! The moustaches are only for "eroica" purposes.....everybody (my wife, my colleagues, my pego-friends) told that i look better without it.....somebody told me that i'm similar to some Village People member...."macho macho man...".

ciao dario,

today i rode my bottechia '89 home from work at 7:30pm and said to myselve: "another exhausting day finally ended, tomorrow i have to get up at 4:30 in the morning (unusually for me) to drive to salzburg, lets have a short and relaxing evening ..."

and when i arrived at home, i behold the box "fatti con le mani" in front of the entrance door of my little house, amazing!
i instantly opend the box and also the bottle of wine you made us as a gift at this years pegoraduno and i am happy like a child!!!

thank you so much for producing this marvelous frame and also for repainting, you are right, manovella is the best choice!

@sdg71: enjoy the eroica, i took part in 2010 and 2011, but without moustaches ;) only with my dusika 1961 and a woolen jersey :D

well, it was a communication mistake between dario and me. i wrote in my ordering mail in march to have the colourded sections of the manovella paint a few centimeteres down at seat tube, down tube ant seat stays to have more white and less black. in may, in darios workshop, i was overhelmed about the scenery and only said to him: colourded sections down, you know (as described in my mail). and the result 2 month ago was unfortunatly that almost the whole frame was white with the coloured sections behind the crank and front derailleur . dissapointing and not what i expected.
but after ferragosto dario wrote me to repaint it standard manovella and we share the costs. i sent it back and today i got it repainted beautifully.
