    Default Friday PicFest No.135

    The Max blades were trying to show me who's boss tonight. Wilton is persuasive though.

    @02136 this week...

    After months of work and waiting, our titanium disc dropouts have arrived. Let me tell you, I am amazed at how light (and beautiful) they are. Big shout outs to Peter Verdone for doing all of the behind the scenes design legwork and Mark Nordstat of Paragon Machine Works for the beautiful machining.

    We also completed our titanium stem project.

    The first one sent out to none other than the fabulous J-Spin.

    Titanium Road frameset with integrated Di2 wiring harness, Enve tapered road fork, Firefly 20mm offset seatpost with battery installed inside and custom paintjob.

    Another Titanium Road frameset, this time with our first titanium headbage rendered (not metaphorically) in anodized green.

    Di2 running through the front of the head tube, internally bypassing the 3T tapered steerer.

    Also, a look at a frame you might recognize from a couple of weeks ago, all built up at Endless Pedal. Fabulous build: Get the scoop HERE!

    Here's to another great week! (the bubble doesn't exist)

    Cheers to all!

    Prototype of a small production run I'm doing - the Atlas series. Fillet brazed goodness. Stash plug in the monostay.

    Just a pet project this week. I swapped brakes and the caliper doesn't jive with the setup on my 29er, so I made this.

    Posting here and trying not to feel that "I'm not worthy" feeling... Anyway, here's frame number three, a 650b sport tourer/commuter for my wife, just back from paint by Bryan Myers at Fresh Frame. He asked me if he could use my frame as a booth bike for the Philly handbuilt show at the end of the month, which is a huge honor that, again, I don't feel worthy of. Frame was built from PegoRichie and whatever Dazza is calling his "Slant 6" lugs nowadays (slightly modified). I wish the Pacenti twin plate crown had been available when I built it, but it was OOS.

    Hope I'm not too late to contribute - I finished painting my latest creation on the weekend. This is a Columbus Spirit for lugs roadie with carved Llewellyn stainless lugs.

    It's my first go at stainless lugs, and my first go at a fork. I'm very, very happy with the result.
