Two-Blue, a 359 ready to build up. Peggo-Richie tubeset, Sachs lugs, Paragon drops. A winning combination. Probably my last frame with these drop-outs, I'm going to stick with the 1010's.

Days are cooler, and the sun a little weaker. All the better for photos.

I ran out of Peggo-Richie stickers, but the Columbus version looks nice also.

I squared the tips of my stay caps on this one.

    @02136 this week.

A very busy week. Finishing up a bunch of bikes and starting a few more.

Highlights of the week include a couple of fully built titanium road bikes shipped to far away lands.

    So much more to come!

    Cheers all!

    To another great week!

Seems like I jinxed myself asking about warranties a couple of weeks ago. #4 came back with a crack in the drive side chainstay. After 3 years and countless endurance races I'm not really all that surprised. The new rear should last a very long time though.

    Coming up for air.

Biggest project besides helping neighbors recover from Irene- de-digitizing operations.

Meet Frank The Welder. His head is shaped like a shrimp. He has to smash the inside of his helmet to make it fit.

Working on some beefy 6061 road bikes for individuals of larger proportions-

Scale- 38mm seattubes. 1" round chainstays.

The only way we'd like to build singlespeeds

Although this one is a Hammerschmidt 2 speed 650b speed machine

Hammerschmidt is dumb, but money talks.

Some Candy Grape melted onto a slalom bike.

I'm really excited how well these new dropouts turned out. 9mm thick 7075 is stiff!

making seat stay plugs for a Lucentezza
a lathe is a beautiful thing
I reckon life with out one would be slumming it
    1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg6.jpg7.jpg9.jpg10.jpg11.jpg12.jpg

and I just escaped for 5 days working on 12" to the foot scale locos
    13.jpg
    in the camping van
and sharing yarns with old steam drivers
    14.jpg
and now they want me to be project manager of rebuilding #314 to make a super slick loco and there is a good boiler barrel available
now that will be a fun but big big project
