choices are good, but I'm a fan a Dazza's lugsets because of the cast in features that improve the design imho. I think the only reason to use these is if you want to use a 1 1/8 steerer with an os tubes set but I'm not sure that aesthetic suits me either and the whole mess weighs more than it should with the 36mm headtube..

Agreed... the look of Dazza's lugs and that extra length on the seat lug are sweet. I guess this option makes it easier to use fulll carbon forks.

Jonathon sums it up the way I was thinking
I will add that I gave the sloping top tube OS lugs set a lot of thought when doing the design
and I did give the 36mm HT some thought
a: I do not design the parts for a potential buyers market, the design and form of the parts are what I need and desire here for versatility in my Llewellyn production.
b: A carbon fork is not my cup of tea for OS tubes and never really has been so 28.6mm steerer was not required. Steel forks rock. .
c: New hobby builders may be reluctant to make their own forks so they seek a carbon fork, which is fair enough, but this was not in my considerations
d: I have sloping the XL sloping top tube lugs out there since 2004 and these tubes match up to the 36mm HT reagrds engineering and aesthetics

However it is cool that there is choice out there, we have never lived in better times.
    Cheers Dazza
