Shinomaster….send your address and I'll send off my fattie jeans for you to wear hanging off your butt. BTW how do you get them to stay up? I ask my kid but he won't tell me the answer.
238 still.
100 percent body fat.
Hmmm... new plan of attack or just a little patience? Crap now I have that godawful GunsNRoses song in my head...
two 15 mile rides in the woods the last few days... 2000 calories yesterday. Shooting for that again today. That is how many I can eat with no excercise to speak and maintain if I was my height and 185 which is my goal weight.

I'm dropping it into the 13….
169.6 this morning, which is a 10 year low. Still a bit to go, but progressing well. Reducing, then eliminating; processed foods, dairy, eggs, and meats has been the key.
I've been vegan for a couple of weeks now. I'm not sure if I'll keep it vegan, or add the occasional animal product.
Keep it up folks!

Have eaten 2,000 cals for a few days now and ridden every day so it'll kick in soon...
I'm down 12 pounds mostly because of some extra bike commuting and portion control. Ive given up on structured training with given my job and little kids at home. Broke my arm and sprained my elbow on an MTB ride over the weekend--- hoping being off the bikes for 6-8 weeks doesn't completely kill the weight loss. I'm going need a lot of relentlessness, altoids and atmo to keep the dream alive.
How much more are you looking to lose?
There's some funny stuff in here!
FWIW - being fit and healthy is all good and well and seeing most of us love riding it often seems to follow as a matter of course. But, obsessing about weight and diet, that is for when you get paid (or are wanting to get paid) to ride a bike. 99.99% of us don't fit this description. Enjoy your riding, watch your diet, but try and keep it in perspective.

Perspective? How about family, business then the bike? I just want a new challenge on the bike. See you guys Monday.

inching my way down ever so slowly.
At this point perspective is me saying to myself " Bro, Self, You are teetering on the edge of overweight and obese"
So it really is a priority. Stress on top of that? Not so good huh. It ain't about looks or race weight etc... I am ugly and married and couldn't race a dying slug.
I wear more hats than a stylish hydra at this point so i really need to focus on getting healthy and losing some weight again or it will get lost in the shuffle and more out of control.
I'll get in on this, the more the merrier.
My situation is a little different; I'm thin, but not fit. With school starting this fall, leaving my job, and the weather turning crappier, my bike time has taken a nosedive. I've actually lost weight, because I rarely eat 3 meals a day now, and I'm sedentary enough that I don't get hungry. My goal is to ramp the activity back up, mostly by running and core/light weight work, and stay where I am weight-wise. Maybe dropping some fat while I'm at it, we'll see. I have a Homedics BF% scale; I don't know how accurate or precise it is, but it's what I've got.
Weight this morning (after a breakfast): 156.5. The scale goes to the tenths, so I'll use that digit. BF% 7.1 <---I think this reading is low, but we'll see how it varies day-to-day.
