I only make that stuff when the kids are here. They are required to take home leftovers.

This also ensures the old man can still drop them. Sometimes. Maybe.

I didn't cook this. My neighbor left it in a cooler in his driveway for me. Yum.

Busy weeknight supper: Salad of mixed variety home grown lettuce, sliced cuke, a couple of yellow grape tomatoes, pitted black oil cured olives, and goat cheese. Sliced grilled skirt steak with Penzeys' Mitchell Street rub. All topped with a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette buzzed up with a couple of anchovy fillets.

Hot wet rice* with fungi: Carnarolli rice**, cepes (Boletus edulis), chanterelle (Cantharellus gibarius), cornes d'abondance (Craterellus cornucopiodes), morel (Morchella esculenta) and summer truffle (Tuber aestivum). The truffles got a bit lost, but it was good anyway.

**Dunno about you but I can't make decent hot wet rice with arborio.

    Almost veggie:
    - A bag of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots for microwave
    - half avocado
    - some nuts
    - a small potato
    - basmati rice
    - goat cheese (put the roll into freezer for 3 or 4 minutes to cut it easily)

After cooking the broccoli, carrots and and cauliflower in the microwave, fry them in a pan with olive oil, add the diced potato and stir. Add pepper. Put a lid so the potato gets soft.

Lay the cheese directly over the hot vegetables, add avocado and nuts. I dressed all with some balsamic vinegar.

Words cannot describe how much 'effin fun I had tonight baking a couple of pizzas. In fact, I told Mrs. RW that I've reached Nirvana in terms of Father's Day gifts and that she and the kids can focus on quality lump charcoal from here on in.
